For my first post, I thought I should start with a little something about myself… so here goes…
I’m a lover of life! I love travel, shopping, clothes, jewelry, accessories, movies, mythology, books, dance and everything else that adds fun, fantasy and magic to life.
I’m a fashion enthusiast, traveler, writer, brand strategist and a consumer insight miner, who’s born and brought up in Mumbai, lived in Italy for a year (while doing my Master’s in Luxury Brand Management from Polimoda Institute, Florence) and in Singapore for a couple of years. Last year I moved back to Mumbai and have since then, been livin’ it up!
Fashion Philosophy: I believe that ‘Style’ is something that is very unique to everyone, and that being well-dressed doesn’t mean following the latest trends and being dressed in them… I’m not one of those who will just blindly adopt any new trend, just because it’s in vogue…what I wear has to look good on me… and most importantly, it has to make me feel great!
Yes I do love brands… both high street and designer wear, but what I truly love, is to find interesting and pretty things from unique little offbeat stores and flea markets… and to create my own curated little wardrobe! The best thing about this, is that I end up owning the most precious and unique things, which more often than not are also way more affordable than branded mass-produced stuff!
I love mixing branded fashion with my unique little finds and creating looks that are classy, elegant, fashionable and yet funky!
My Wish: I hope to inspire people to be stylish, classy and elegantly dressed; to help them develop their own unique sense of style by sharing with them my bits of information about where they can find unique yet affordable stuff; to hopefully inspire them to add a little style and funk to everyday, wearable fashion; and to make fashion non-intimidating for everyone.
The Name: Now a lot of people’ve asked me, why PinkPepperCorn?! Well… this sweet and delicious looking berry from Latin America… all pretty and pink, when bitten into, gives you the sting! So for those of you who know me well, now know why it’s so apt; and for those of you who don’t… you’ll soon agree too

It’s a white summer dress from Mango, and adding the much needed colour is this gorgeous clutch I purchased from a small shop at the Bugis Street Market in Singapore. Floral stone Bracelet from a concept store called ‘with you’ on Haji Lane and the Aragonite stone pendant from a gemstore, all in Singapore. The shoes (my absolute favorites) are from Aftershock London – black and classic with a quirk’d up lacey heel!
